Elizabeth graduated from The Open University with an honours degree in Humanities and Social Sciences. Her career includes working within the public service and voluntary sectors, including working as an administrator within regeneration project management, housing, economic development, employment advice and a business start-up advice agency. She also has worked in large commercial companies and as a volunteer for her church in north east England. Other third sector experience has included employment with Methodist Homes and with Splitz, a charity supporting families surviving domestic abuse. Currently she is based in Somerset, England, is a member of the Frome Writers Collective and is studying to teach English to non-native speakers at the City of Bath College.
